Out Of Character

One Account Per Character - This means that you must have one OOC account, and another account for each individual character. You may have up to as many characters as you can handle. If one falls inactive (has not been online in one month) it will be deleted. If you request for a character to be deleted, a staff member will do so.
Regarding Faceclaims- Sonder is an animanga roleplay. This means that faceclaims must only be of Anime/Manga style characters. It does NOT have to be from an anime or manga, just the style. Faceclaims can come from an anime or manga.
No Excessive Cursing - We allow cursing to an extent, but we do not want you or your character unnecessarily swearing every two seconds.
Mature Threads Must Labeled - Threads with very graphic violence or gore must have the maturity label [M] somewhere in the thread title.
Do Not Harass Other Members - Hate, verbal abuse, and sexual harassment all fall under this category and more. Sonder has a friendly, accepting community; please help us keep it this way.
Listen To The Staff Members - If you feel as if a staff member is treating you unfairly, please report them, otherwise we will always treat you fairly and respect you. We ask the same of you.
Advertise Properly - Advertise in marked areas only.
No Spamming - Do not spam the forum or the c-box with multiple, consecutive posts. If you have a thread that is only for your reference and no one else is posting on it, then you may post twice. Otherwise, wait.

Fade To Black - That means that instead of the normal “don’t mention it at all” rule, we take it a (tiny) step further. A good example of this would be, say, a character taking another character to their apartment, getting some tasty french, followed by a time skip or the end of the thread. However, every thread containing such must be labeled [M] in the thread title. This is to abide by the ProBoards Terms of Use.
No Powerplaying or Godmodding - Really, this shouldn’t have to be said. Respect the wishes of the person or persons whom you are roleplaying with, and consider how realistic your character's actions would really be before posting.
Word Count- We currently have a word count of at least 150 words, minimum. We encourage our roleplayers to go much higher than that, however. We do NOT have a plugin to manage this -- we suggest that you at least try to meet the word count, or the plugin will be added.
Offspring- Yes, we do allow characters to have kids. However, The following is required for two characters to have kids: The characters must be at least nineteen years of age. For now, only realistic matches can be made; Large creatures with large creatures and humanoids with humanoids. There must be at least two threads with the characters bonding, and at least twenty posts between the two.

That being said, your character cannout have any unrealistic 'parts' (such as ears, wings, etc.) unless your character is a species that has them. You may have unrealistically colored hair and eyes, and unrealistically muscular or thin, just like every single anime out there. Go wild.
Species Limit- Your character can only be one type of species, unless they were born by two different species. No hybrids, meaning no elf/incubi mixes, wyvern/dragon mixes, or morphs/neko mixes unless they were born in-game.
High Elves- You may only make one High Elf. Keep in mind that they're usually very snooty, with very, very few exceptions. You must have permission granted by an admin to have one of these exceptions; Keep in mind, the Admins will be very strict about this.
No Sues- No Mary or Gary Sues, meaning no completely perfect or completely horrible characters. Your character will not be accepted if they are a Sue.
Nationality- Your character can be from any country; Japan, America, England, etc. as long as their histories include how they got to Havenbourne.
