The Civati

The Civati are the rebels; the leaders of the revolution. All members are awakened prisoners -- stripped from the cold, dark grey streets and placed in a world full of color, emotion, and an active thirst for freedom. Most Civati strive for the chance to defeat the High Elves and become independent; free from the chains in which the High Elves hold them.
The Civati get their sudden powers from a force called Laika. The Awakening gives them a sudden adrenaline rush, and the immediate need for freedom activates the Laika inside of everyone; giving them their special powers. Ironically, Laika was a spell originating from High Elves. Some Civati claim that this is proof that the High Elves' arrogance will be their downfall.

The Order

The Order is mainly made up of the High Elves that occupy the High Castle. The High Elves are arrogant, conceited beings, believing that their race is superior and immediately belittling any other race. As such, a long time ago, the High Elves took over two small villages. The village of Laurhaven, and the city of Bourneskyle; thus, the city of Havenbourne was created.
The High Elves enslaved many -- humans, humanoids, and other, larger creatures. As a revolution arose, they decided to use their powers instead of fight. They created two things -- The Laika and the Olis. The Olis was made so that anyone who entered the city would lose all memories, as well as cover anything... strange. It created a mask; it deleted color, made fake scenery, blurred the faces of passersby... The Laika was created so that in case there was ever an Awakening, the ones in question would be overwhelmed with powers that would ultimately lead to their demise.
Obviously, the High Elves had underestimated them. Seeing that their genius plan failed, the High Elves created the Order and recruited the Elven King. They enslaved large creatures such as dragons, wyverns, and ogres; for this time, they wished to fight.

Neutral

The Neutral group is split into two sub groups.
First, there are the ones who have not been Awakened; the blurry faces in crowds, the ones who see no color, and cannot detect anything strange.
Then, there are the Awakened; however, these people have either not found out about either group, have not joined either group, or wish not to fight in general.
Neutral citizens normally have no thoughts or beliefs based on either group.
